Praise and Worship

Praise and Worship is a subject that I love, though they are separate acts they are intertwined.
We often quote: Psalms 150:6-"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord..." And yes the scripture means just that. This includes the Christians, non-Christians,and every living thing.
Though we all can praise God, our level of praise differs  as believers. Praise is birthed out of relationship, awareness fuels
praise and worship it all works as the glue that keeps us together. As believers knowledge of who God is causes us to
become joyful. When we think about who He is and what He's done we praise!
I want to talk about praise and worship "when it seems He isn't there!"
The sacrifice of praise is: when you don't feel like jumping and shouting.
It's an in spite of praise, a I don't see my way praise; we offer it in faith and obedience.  Few of those wonderful attributes of God are lingering in your mind when trials are hovering.
The sacrifice of praise leads us into Worship which leads to breakthrough.
I love this quote by Pastor Robert D. Clark-" Worshippers aren't escapees from reality, they face reality by the power of God!" In other words they aren't wimps but power packed believers whose  attitude is to worship in spite of... Worshippers may not be running and jumping all the time, they live  life in confidence of their King. They pour out their hearts to the God who deserves respect and honor. One final key point is that Praise and Worship sweetens the disposition of a believer; so don't be bitter during your trials be better!

*****This concludes the series Surviving the Storm  I pray that it was a blessing to you as it was a release for me.
